Please update a fix on this. I'm also facing the same issue. If a card is dismissed when using BigImageCard, the description of the below card will disappear after animation.

Found a fix in another person's pull request. Go to SwipeDismissRecyclerViewTouchListener.java and comment out the following line mPendingDismisses.add(new PendingDismissData(dismissPosition, dismissView)); After that, all is well.
