[BUG]: Caused by: org.gradle.api.ProjectConfigurationException: A problem occurred configuring project ':flutter_sound'.

I resolved it by adding namespace attribute to the build.gradle file of the flutter_sound package

cannot send SMS while in background

Yes, It was a permission issue. Resolved.
