Just wanted to put forward a "better" metadata source for manga, [MangaUpdates](https://www.mangaupdates.com). It has more up to date and detatiled information about manga than Kitsu or MyAnimeList.

I am having the same issue as above and have also followed the steps they outlined to fix the problem. I have also tried waiting over 24 hours between logins...
