I have a CNAMES and MX in my DNS zone. I had to modify this line to include the type `$recordurl = "$baseurl/$zoneid/dns_records/?name=$hostname"` to `$recordurl = "$baseurl/$zoneid/dns_records/?name=$hostname&type=A"`
