I still experience it on Win11, but I'm not able to test any other operating systems. The sound is mostly fine on the largest buffer size.
I don't think "Dummy notehead" really explains what it does. How about **"Notehead duration (visual only)"**?
These tiling shortcuts __do__ work correctly on Windows 11; however, the window often ends up being too large to fit in the tile space due to the minimum size issue...

Since this is a minimum size issue, I'm going to update #10965 to focus only on the Snap layouts not working.
Could you try increasing the buffer size in Preferences > IO to see if that helps?
