Being on an x4 link doesn't limit power consumption. The 3080 (same GA102 die) works fine over thunderbolt with effectively less than 4x link. It loses 10-20% performance vs x16...
The Light and the Air share the same sensor fusion code in Nebula. Whatever works on one will work on the other :)
