Using this with RxJava2

hello i too is facing this issue how can it be used with rxjava

Actionlayout menu to add a badge tells me android.widget.FrameLayout cannot be cast to android.widget.ImageView

i am using a framelayout as a the root layout and your menu item cannot cast it and the method for inflating menu is not exposed
