Is there a fix for this because this is still affecting me. It attempts to upgrade to the newer version, but the old version still persists.

Came here looking for this issue before opening one of my own. I'd imagine that implementing a linter/formatter for `JSONC` (json w/ comments) would be significantly easier than an implementation...

Experiencing similar issues on my end. I'm running Neovim 0.10.0 on Fedora with the latest version of cmp. Running `rm -rf ~/.local/share/nvim` and `rm -rf ~/.local/state/nvim` and reinstalling the plugins...
