Did you [set the debug mode](https://github.com/Adobe-CEP/Getting-Started-guides/tree/master/Client-side%20Debugging#set-the-debug-mode)? Which OS are you on?
Does this happen in many different products, or say, just InDesign...?
I've filed this as CEP-2384
Engineering has closed that bug, and reports that the XMP fix will be in Illustrator 25.3 and InDesign 16.3.

I think neural filters use BatchPlay, and maybe some other elements of classic extensibility, but you're welcome to try!
