I can confirm the following works: - downloaded Desktop Runtime (not the SDK!) from the link above, installed and rebooted - installed YTPD, didn't work - installed the ASP.NET Core...

I love this program but it's always the same issue with .NET, every time... it asks us to download the wrong one
so what worked for me was APS.NET Core Runtime 8.0 Unfortunately, the installer links to the wrong version, again
