@boutier I'm seeing this as well and would love an update or workaround.

@boutier I ended up working around this my following the alterations on [this page](https://developer.android.com/jetpack/androidx/releases/documentfile#kts) by adding the following to the dependencies in the gradle file. `implementation("androidx.documentfile:documentfile:1.0.1")`
