Also running into this issue on Android, pasting from clipboard works but pasting from sms messages doesn't.

Seems like the changes have been added to [the library here](https://github.com/facebook/react/blob/d724ba96ff452570afed321c3a672f2a5f4bfe96/packages/eslint-plugin-react-hooks/package.json#L31) but a new version is yet to be released on NPM
