It's not an actual solution but you can start the livetv "app" to switch, the app will still be open in the background but shouldn't interfere that much in terms...

That command doesn't output anything, I tried `subsync.exe --loglevel=DEBUG --logfile=C:\log.txt` on the portable plain 0.13 you've sent me and the installed 0.15 but the file is never created. But answering...
