Previous solution is evidence of a shortcoming in the software since IG's implementation of collections beyond just 'saved'. Issue #1172 is a much better answer.
Above feature plus this one: https://github.com/mcmonkeyprojects/SwarmUI/issues/388 would go a long way to (new) user friendliness aka adoption aka less help requests.
