Looks like this is resolved in an upcomming gstreamer release for MP3s I think - Just looking at this merge request https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/gstreamer/gstreamer/-/merge_requests/1028 Since I've noticed MP3 files weren't playing gapless...

Spacemacs/Emacs  lxappearance/GTK  My terminal - tmux + zsh + oh-my-zsh + bullet train theme + zsh-syntax-highlighting
