I've tracked it down to this setting. If selected, playback stops (and I must do multiple browser refreshes to get it working again). If deselected, everything works as expected. 
We're using aeron to push huge amounts of data between servers, and are interested in RSocket features.
Hey @lion7 -- is there any holdup on this? Having proper JPMS support would really be fantastic.

karabiner elements broke it. (if you disable karabiner elements, Flour works again.)
pretty much, yes. An update to karabiner elements now completely hooks the function keys, so changing the macOS system settings (which is how fluor works) does nothing now.
