I follow @thommey in this: keep consistency with same themed functions. So either leave it be, or change them all. I don't see how this would be backward compatible though...

If you tried it and if it's not that different from what's already there, it'd be better to update it in the doc than to rely on an online guide...
Can confirm this; a manual .unlink and .link fixes this too but can't remember if this has to be done on the hub or leaf.
