Define a "splunk server" if you are assuming that everyone has a single Splunk enterprise deployment that would be inconsistent with a distrubuted deployment.
If I follow then because I have 9 splunk servers that ingest data that I would need 9 containers running. Each of those containters wold send to one of those...
seems alot more complex than just allowing one splunkpump to talk to multiple splunk-indexers. It just sends to one of them and splunk handles the rest.
splunkpump != the whole setup.. just the part that is sending.
