Yeah I tried running the notebook and wasn't able to see a feed. Can you point me to which line exactly is responsible for bringing up the feed?
Oh is it possible I can't see the feed because I'm running the notebook over ssh?
I'm also getting this on my thinkpad T14 with integrated graphics (running NixOS + Wayland). If I install via flatpak though Signal works fine. I also find Signal works fine...
Some of the traits here might be inappropriate and I'd be happy to remove them if so. For my own use case I really just need the comparison and hashing...

The tests are passing locally for me. The failed workflows seem to be an issue on the runner.
Why was this issue closed without implementation? It is very much bad practice for library APIs to return anyhow errors
Oh wow I hadn't appreciated how deeply integrated `anyhow` is into the project 😅 I can try pick away at it in my spare time
