Same issue, is this fork dead?
Ran into the same issue, just because a file name is the same doesn't mean the content is, a flag that just adds an '_1' to duplicates would be good.
Agree, the metadata and avatars/headers could sit in the main username folder, if the avatar was renamed to 'folder' that would also create a folder preview in Windows. (less important)....
Made the mistake of doing mine with Krokiet, there's no save button at all!
