I'm not quite sure you mean by any other prompt. It happens with `zsh` using `starship` but does not happen when using `zsh` without `starship`.
It doesn't. if `eval "$(starship init zsh)"` comes after the iterm `source`, then the "marks" don't appear at all.
I suspect the issue has something to do with `zsh` not executing preexec when return or ctrl-c are pressed and the way that starship and iterm precmd functions interact.
