cannot build - build fails

when I try to build this in Xcode 8.3.2 it fails with. fatal: Not a git repository (or any of the parent directories): .git Command /bin/sh failed with exit code...

I am trying to compile this wallet on my Mac but keep getting errors. What version of Xcode and Swift is required for this? thanks
