I did some testing, Refined Storage and Create will not interact with Stacked Books, but both do recognize that they have a storage of four books

This is likely a Firmament "issue," that being said, that mod is more focused on textures to begin with. I myself am planning on tinkering around with this mod later...

Yeah, it generates the mesh for the original texture, but the new texture does get plastered over it still. So if a pixel is added, it creates just the head...
