tesseract-ocr has the ability to whitelist characters -> only these can be extracted from the image. e.G. tessedit_char_whitelist='0123456789abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyzäöüABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ()AÖÜ&€ß@[]-/.,: ' i think this addon could improve the ocr feature alot!
