Got the same thing running on a Fedora 34 machine, deleting the .data folder and re-running didn't do much of anything to resolve the issue.

I like the idea of this! Seems like something that could pretty easily be broken down into a handful of issues.
I think maybe a recursive wordlist option might be worth looking into?
Final question: Could we also perhaps have some way of providing file hashes with the server? That might be a separate PR, though it's a good thing to think about,...

Sounds like it makes sense. Could also leverage magic bytes for Gzip files as well.
I'm not seeing this password strength indicator in either the web app or browser extension. Where did you see this?
