i would prefer timeline syncing via mastodon api too as syncing would be across devices AND apps/webfrontend too. Much more elegant than iCloud syncing IMHO.
the author commented lately that he is willing to iron out the sync feature and the plan is to make it automatic, so there is hope :)

it's working fine here between macOS App and iOS and iPad App.
i have exactly the same issue. only a older ffmpeg version (4.4.4) brings back stable IPTV streams. The streams stop all of a sudden with EOF under ffmpeg 6.0.1. OS:...
the Author somewhat thinks aboit that as a toot/madtodon-post suggested.
the App Author was publically thinking about doing that.
this doesn't happen with the Testflight Version 2.0.0
i have the same issue, here Apple Translate is set in preferences.
i even get the same photo added twice to a toot (only selected one photo of course)
