Was this actually implemented? I just integrated this into a little project I've got going and, unless I completely misunderstand what rectangular selection means, it seems to be highlighting everything...
Gotcha--never used that before, interesting. Will have to think about that some more, maybe it'd be useful to have (now that I know about it!)

I never did, but I didn't look into it either. Honestly, I hope Flex makes a comeback some day, but we've moved to JavaFX + web start.
