Click on YiNote icon again, the litter page on the right can note disapper.

There is a PR already that fixes it (https://github.com/shuowu/yi-note/pull/113). Still waiting on repo owner to review and merge it.

So testing it out without Windows Terminal emu and just running shells as they are it works fine. Alacritty term emu also works fine. There is still weird caret behavior...
