I experience this as well
I converted this to a draft. it's getting dinged for unused methods, which was intentional, so maybe best to leave it in draft unmerged until we resolve some of those...

I suppose another way to go would be to provide a `delivery#Context` method that returns a newly constructed context. I think that's roughly equivalent to how http works.
