I had the same issue. I found this interim solution / workaround [electron-rebuild and MagicMirror v2.18 (and more) ](https://forum.magicmirror.builders/topic/16074/electron-rebuild-and-magicmirror-v2-18-and-more). Unfortunately any other rebuild failed.
