showing bold and italics and a few others, as per the terminal' capabilities

Hi, I wondered, since most temrinals (mine at least) can show bold and italics, if syntax elements could be shown as such in micro ? Like, in markup syntax, having words meant to be bold actually show up bold, instead of in blue ? These markups aren't only for fun, they're helpful in working. I don't code but I like using micro to write texts without this clunky Libreoffice.

Update: turns out I was just stupid...I forgot to actually apply my modified theme within the editor.
