[BUG] Wheel Gesture Scrolling executed multiple times with Logitech mouse

Logitech MX Master 3 in this case

When in Logitech Options > Point & Scroll > Smooth scrolling is set to enabled, actions assigned to Wheel Gesture scrolling in smartUp Gestures in Chrome are executed multiple times (26 times to be precise). So for example the action "switch Tab to right" is executed 26 times, rendering the functionality useless. (Even worse when the action is set to "Tab List", opening 26 times)

The Logitech smooth scrolling functionality unfortunately is a huge improvement over the choppy default scrolling behavior in Chrome and adds much to a better browsing experience, which is why I hesitate from simply disabling smooth scrolling in Logitech Options.

Not knowing how Logitech implements this function technically, maybe include an option in the Wheel Gesture settings page for a configurable repeat threshold timer in milliseconds? As the repeats are fired within a few milliseconds, a threshold of 20ms set to ignoring Wheel gesture scroll events will probably already do the trick.

Xie Xie!

I don't have a MX Master 3 , don't know how it works, and can't test it. Maybe a special version can be provided to collect data?

Sorry, I did not notice the reply. Yes sure, I can collect data with a special version :) I guess it does not necessarily have to be a MX Master 3 but probably any Logitech mouse and is configured to smooth scrolling in "Logitech Options"
