Database storage support for distributed access to images

Use the same image map in multiple servers I know this may be difficult, but is there a way to achieve it?

There is not as of now, and that would need some substantial work to achieve. I'm not against it but I won't be able to develop this feature. Feel free to work on it and open a pull request, tho!
