Search entries

Right now, tags are the best way to navigate past entries. Not sure if search should be for full text of every entry or only titles. Search should also be fuzzy to allow for leniency.

The same user who suggested #117 also wanted to have both text search and text filtering.

• Text search: When the user types the search text and hits enter, the first entry with the matching text is highlighted. All the rest of the entries still appear in the list, and the user can jump between the search results with prev/next mechanism. (similar to text search in web pages.)
• Text filtering: Only display the matching entries in the entries list box and temporarily hide all the others, similar to tag filtering.

We will need to decide whether we want to support either or both.

Definitely would vote for Text Search. In fact, this function is, in my opinion, what stops Journaley from being world-class software. It needs a comprehensive search function!! This should be a no brainer!
