LeanKeyKeyboard doesn't work properly with browsers on FireTV

LeanKeyKeyboard

1. Works fine with Firefox browser for FireTV 4.71, on FireTV.
   The on-screen keyboard is displayed, according to the settings http://www.apkmirror.com/apk/mozilla/firefox-android-tv/firefox-android-tv-4-7-1-release/

2. With "Downloader" browser http://www.amazon.de/exec/obidos/ASIN/B01N0BP507/ The on-screen keyboard is not displayed, despite the settings. However I may enter keys by a USB keyboard attached by OTG splitter cable.

3. However, it does not work properly with with "Amazon Silk" browser on FireTV. The on-screen keyboard is displayed, but if I enter keys by USB keyboard or by clicking with the virtual cursor of my Firestick remote control, the URL at top of screen doesn't change. If I press the "Start" button on the on-screen keybord, the data is transfered but the URL does not change. I was able to use Google "blindly", but it was a mess. Just have a try for yourself, I dont know how a screenshots might support my bad user experience, so no screenshot

For comparison, 2+3 work fine with "Hacker's Keyboard" http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.pocketworkstation.pckeyboard

Technically, I was able to install, enable and set LeanKeyKeyboard properly for FireTV,

1. Install LeanKeyKeyboard
2. Installation of the "Remote ADB Shell" on an extra smartphone
3. Enable it ime enable org.liskovsoft.androidtv.rukeyboard/com.liskovsoft.leankeyboard.ime.LeanbackImeService
4. Set it as standard keyboard ime set org.liskovsoft.androidtv.rukeyboard/com.liskovsoft.leankeyboard.ime.LeanbackImeService

(4) may also be done by http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kunzisoft.keyboard.switcher http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.pocketworkstation.pckeyboard
