You-Dont-Need-JavaScript Click on button for modal scrolls page to top

In the modal example, when you click on the button to show the modal, the modal shows but the page also scrolls to the top. This would end up as a bug in our backlog :)

navigate to https://github.com/you-dont-need/You-Dont-Need-JavaScript#Modal
load the first example https://codepen.io/peiche/pen/kQwYVJ
change the browser window height so that the html content starts to scroll
scroll to the bottom
click on 'click me'
the modal appears but in the background the content scrolls to the top
if the button is somewhere in the middle of a page it would scroll away from that location and confuse the user
