RestartVim not working (linux vim 8.0.1453)

On gvim it exits normally (after asking confirmation to save session), but then it does not reopen. I tried debugging but, couldn't find anything.

On terminal it doesn't do anything. Only through debugging I could read the message: "session.vim 2.13.1: The :RestartVim command only works in graphical Vim!"
