You should be able to resize the area with the mouse. The size will be persisted next time you open the same Editor Tool
Looks like it works fine for both games now. LBA2 still missing the side push, but lets do that one later.
That should only be used if GAMEMOD enabled, although having the font on the root directory should have worked.

It is playable, but not finished though. A good part of the game is done, you may be able to play the entire game start to end.
