Any log rotation script included?

Jsut wondering if there's one included and if not which one do you recommend for a minimal system?

You don't mention which OS you're using. I use Debian 7 for the most part and it installs logrotate as a default with the system utilities.

Since it only runs once a day (Well it's supposed to only run once a day) and isn't running in the background, is it really a concern for processor and memory?

Slicehost did some articles on logrotate and the different settings if you want to take a looksee:

Hope this helps

Debian 7 and it all seems ok, just checked the logrotate config, it was indeed installed but different packages have different rotation schedules so I thought it wasn't happening.

Its just my syslog doesn'T seem to get rotated. Need to see how to configure that one. Not sure yet if it is owned by any process or if it has to be configured on its own in logrotate.conf
