Cannot build on Debian jessie (no make target)

Open jtv4k opened this issue 10 years ago • 3 comments

I'm attempting to build on a fresh copy of Debian Jessie. I've installed all the prerequisites and can run ./configure without issue. However, trying to run make results in an error.

# make
Makefile:7: /usr/share/planex/Makefile.rules: No such file or directory
make: *** No rule to make target '/usr/share/planex/Makefile.rules'. Stop.

Looks like planex hasn't been installed. I can't seem to find a current package for Jessie, but you can probably install from source. The repo is here: https://github.com/xenserver/planex

Having similar issue in Ubuntu 14.04. Have already installed planex-0.7.2 from source and still have the same issue. Any luck resolving yours?

It's probably not the same issue, Planex works fine here. I think you may need to re-do the planex thing on your end. I've got it working on a whole range of build boxes just fine.
