Pre-compiled ARM64 package?

Open GrabbenD opened this issue 3 years ago • 3 comments

Plenty of popular systems like single board computers are based on arm64 such as the Raspberry Pi 4. However, pre-compiled packages in XanMod's repository are currently targeted against only amd64:

# apt update && apt install linux-xanmod
Get:1 http://deb.xanmod.org releases InRelease [2094 B]
Hit:2 https://deb.debian.org/debian bullseye InRelease
Hit:3 https://deb.debian.org/debian bullseye-updates InRelease
Hit:4 https://deb.debian.org/debian-security bullseye-security InRelease
Hit:5 https://deb.debian.org/debian bullseye-backports InRelease
Hit:6 https://archive.raspberrypi.org/debian bullseye InRelease
Fetched 2094 B in 1s (1410 B/s)

N: Skipping acquire of configured file 'main/binary-arm64/Packages' as repository 'http://deb.xanmod.org releases InRelease' doesn't support architecture 'arm64'

Would ARM64 support in the official repository be possible down the road?

CrossCompiling and community feedback are also viable options for this implamentation 😃 https://wiki.debian.org/CrossToolchains

I have a Raspberry Pi 2B and a Raspberry Pi 3B+ -- what would be more useful for assisting: cash/crypto donation, or setting up my UDM for someone to SSH into these devices for testing?
