OBS does not accept keyboard shortcuts when started under Xanmod

Setting keyboard shortcuts does not work when OBS is running under xanmod, problem does not exist with standard kernels. Issue is most likely PEBKAC, but posting in case it isn't.

I don't see a direct relationship with the kernel, look in the /var/log/kern.log or /var/log/syslog files for any related error message, for example "ibus".
