Motor speed control
Hi!
I recognize that such functions are beyond the intent of this program, but as you are the one with the original code, I wanted to ask if there is a possibility to control the actual speed of the camera motor.
I have recently gotten my hands on a ConferenceCam and would be happy to use it in a robotics project at some point - so it'd be very relevant for me to know if it is possible to run the motors at a speed other than 100%, so as to achieve precise pointing of the camera head and to eliminate the shaking at the end of movement by stopping more smoothly.
Would you happen to know? Thank you.
I have this code. But as a baze I just got real bad undocumented code from Logitech. If this is possible I need the DirectX control sequences from the manufacturer. Try to contact Logitech as I did. Possibly you have more luck. If you have the control sequences or sample code I would be eager to implement this. Greetings Martin
I possibly have more up to date SDK from Logitech that I got only a few months ago, but I'm unsure as to the legality of sharing it. I'll see what I can find and if I can share.
I am registered as a Logitech SDK user and developer... my SDK stuff is real old... But documentation is important. I had a lot of try and error to find out all functions that are available to me. You may find an email to me via my homepage... ;)
I see no way to accomplish this.
