MQTT Button issue

Hi Kevin, Finding a couple button types not working. 1- Samsung Zigbee Button. (Temp and Battery work. No button)

2- Aeon Quad button (Just battery only. No buttons)

I’ll take a look - do you have a link to the Samsung driver ?

Buttons are hugely problematic via MQTT and also not supported for discovery by HA. In fact I did make a post in the MQTT app thread about discontinuing support for buttons in beta3e so they may disappear anyway.

I think you should be able to enable discovery as a binary sensor, or a device trigger? https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/device_trigger.mqtt/

Can you get to work HE to HA? I wouldn't have a clue where to get a driver. I could ask Mike (Hubitat)?
