Are you sure you don't have something like dark reader or so?
just had same
my settings are set to AUTO so it switches the theme at some point but right now is bright ...

This is not fixed. The description above is correct, but it was a little terse so maybe it wasn't understood. Let me elaborate.
The Ask AI dialog seems to be stuck in dark mode. If you run the web site in dark mode as well, the Ask AI dialog actually shows up, as shown in the last photo above. However if you run the web site in lite mode, the Ask AI dialog looks worse than hideous—it's actually unreadable. One can't even read what one is typing.
The workaround is to switch the web site to dark mode while using Ask AI, and then switch it back to light mode after using Ask AI, but this is cumbersome.
The correct solution would be to have the theme of the Ask AI dialog follow that of the web site. If that is not possible, at least select some color combinations that work in both.
Otherwise the Ask AI dialog is cool and is useful!
