Export Results

It would be cool if you could export the results to save it as a list/text/json document locally. :)

Hi Ipstenu,

This seems like a useful feature as several people have requested being able to export data. Are there any essential formats? I do not think it would be hard to do CSV, JSON, XML. Would that be enough to suit most people?

(Note: I love what you have done with https://github.com/Ipstenu/WordPress-Theme-Directory-Slurper and for all the help you have given me in #plugins on Slack regarding how plugin/theme updates and archive builds work. My excitement about your and MarkJs work on the slurper is why wpdir exists at all.)

That would be enough for anyone :) Also thank YOU for doing this! I bandied about the idea for ages and then never got off my duff :D

FYI, you can hit the API once you did a search.

For example, search via the web UI: https://wpdirectory.net/search/01D9MW8XSVNR1Z2PN6FVDEAR26

JSON results from the API at https://wpdirectory.net/api/v1/search/summary/01D9MW8XSVNR1Z2PN6FVDEAR26

Quite handy while waiting for an export feature

this would be a really great feature as this is something i would like to be able to do!

curl -sk https://wpdirectory.net/api/v1/search/summary/01D9MW8XSVNR1Z2PN6FVDEAR26 | jq -r '.results[].slug'

I was looking into this and sadly the API doesn't provide the last bit of data, which is not just IF something was found, but what was found.

The matches are equally important if you're looking for something like 'How many people use an old version of Bootstrap'
