Repo status?
@shprink - I'm looking to do some Angular development ontop of headless Wordpress and this repo caught my attention. Are you open to having others help maintain it and bump the dependencies up a bit? I'd ideally like to catch this up to Angular 11.
Hi @s4m0r4m4 Some months ago I started something similar for a personal project, but I stopped due to job commitments. If you want this is the repository https://github.com/ptesser/ngx-wordpress and I'm glad if you want to contribute to it.
Thanks ptesser. I ended up just bumping the versions myself and making a PR: https://github.com/wordpress-clients/wp-api-angular/pull/48. We'll see if they merge it or not.
@s4m0r4m4 would you create a npm for it?
@GalawynRM - I'm open to the idea of starting a new repo if we don't hear back, but I'd prefer to keep it all here if possible.
@shprink - reaching out again. I'd really like to contribute here and avoid making a new npm repo. Could you please accept my PR or, even better yet, consider adding me as a maintainer?
Any news?
I have the code on my machine but don't have time to setup a GitHub repo with an npm package. If you want to set that up and add me as a collaborator I'd be happy to contribute my code!
More importantly - I also have an update to the ngx-wordress repo (https://github.com/MurhafSousli/ngx-wordpress) to bring it up to the latest Angular version. That is a much more full-featured repo, and I would definitely be interested in setting up a repo for that if there is interest!
I never tried to make a npm package, but i can try. The name of repo you would use?
or we can try with ngx-wordpress. it's crazy to abandon so much code, without giving some control to other collaborators
