Feature request: Faketime Bisect
In the same vein as using Git Bisect to narrow down a specific failing commit, being able to narrow down a specific time where a future failure will occur for whatever reason.
I think this would be a very useful feature for helping applications become, if not future-proof, then at least somewhat future-resilient.
I agree this is useful, but wonder how exactly you want libfaketime to support that more directly? Since the faketime values can already be changed during run-time, it is straight-forward to do that by controlling libfaketime from outside the subject under test, isn't it?
I agree, I only think that it would be an ergonomic convenience.
If there's no appetite to add it in here, though, I'm happy to see this closed.
