This PR ~~should~~ could be merged when/if witheve/Eve#826 is released to NPM

Sorry for not getting back to you earlier on this, Last month I've been out of the office quite a bit for various family events, so this slipped under my radar. Your changes look good, but git is spuriously treating them as conflicting. If you can fix the conflict and update the PR I'll get it merged.
