Subtitles by default

As someone who uses subtitles by default on youtube web it would be nice to have it default to having them on! default language can probably be inferred from region/ip or could be set via settings

also a button to toggle subtitles would be nice (X maybe?)

It would be best if it was in the options menu instead of forced as someone who doesn't use subtitles, since they take up part of the video. It's a great idea for people that are deaf: but it shouldn't be forced.
